Build Your Own Working Model of a V-8 Engine

Learn everything you need to know about the heart of a vehicle and how it provides the power for a car to run.  Building this 270-piece plastic model of a combustion engine will allow you to see the inner workings of an engine.Turning your STEMNEX engine on, you will see and hear how a real V8 operates.

A detailed illustrated instructional manual included. Approximately 7"x 6.5"x 9" once assembled.

Requires 3 AA batteries (not included). For ages 12+.

This model is a simulation of a real engine. No gasoline is used. In this model, the crankshaft is cranked by the motor. When a bulb lights up, it represents air-fuel mixture being combusted. The inlet and exhaust valves will automatically open and close at the proper time, in phase with that undergoing cycle.

The demonstration will operate for approx. 30 seconds. A speaker will simulate the sound of a true V8 engine.
