Assemble a Device to Track the World’s Most Precious Commodity – Time!
With meticulously designed parts, laser cut for accuracy, building a handcrafted wooden clock has never been easier. Along the way you will learn exactly what makes a wooden clock ‘tick’, from the graceful pendulum, through to the minute hand. Learn the inner workings of clock mechanics as you construct the full gear and pendulum assembly then properly tune the device to properly tell time. The comforting sound and mesmerizing movement creates a focal point for any room.
This 100 piece kit includes a 24-page full color illustrated manual that walks you through the detailed assembly process. Wood glue, sand paper, a razor saw and counterweight material (5 lbs of either BBs, metal shot or small fishing weights) are required to complete the clock and are not included.
Once assembled, the the clock measures approx. 13" x 7". The largest wheel is 5.5" in diameter. The back plate is approx. 11" at its widest. Display requires about 6' of wall from the top of the clock to the floor. It also requires a clearance of 6" from the wall to the front edge of the counter weight. Due to the swinging of the counterweight, allow a width of 16" along the wall.
