I watched the ISS this morning and could see the distinctive hour-glass shape of the two sets of solar panels divided by the central body. Too cool. Yes I'ma geek.

These aren't the real thing. They use IR light to see by, and the same goggles will see that light as a bright spotlight, giving away your position.They look MilSpec, but are a joke.

"The built-in infrared illuminator provides a crystal-clear view of your surroundings even in total darkness. " Otherwise, it would still be dark. No light amplification system works in real darkness like a cave or closed room - you have to use thermal imaging for that. The mil-spec ones cost 3-4x this anyway.
