Quality Value Price This little microtome works great with many types of plant specimens. It routinely cuts 100 to 200 micron sections of most plant parts and can cut thinner sections with some. 100-200 micron sections are better than any hand section and are good for most kinds of microscopic observation. This is the way to teach plant structure and you can use almost any plant foreign or domestic. This is a fantastic machine! Do order additional blades!
