Value Quality Price This device gives some of the coolest lighting effects that are all globe based in shape. Very cool, easy to operate, the darker the room the more dramatic the light show.
CONS: It's made entirely out of plastic. The plastic makes it very lightweight, flimsy and easily knocked over. After only owning this for 3 days it did get knocked over. It fell from coffee table height to carpeted floor and hasn't worked since....spins but no lights.
For some reason they added a hand held swing out arm so that you can....what? It should be made for table top operation.
Battery operation but has plug feature for a NOT INCLUDED power transformer. Get rid of the hand held option, include an electrical plug, add some weight, lose some plastic in the base and you would have a winner.
CONCLUSION: For all the cons it really is a cool light effect.(Posted on 11/12/10)

Quality Value Price Unfortunately, this item is made of nothing but inexpensive plastic that broke the first time we used it. Don't waste your money!

Quality Value Price This is a fascinating creation and one can do a lot with it. The darker the room, the better. I hope manufacturers will consider making a version that is not hand-held.
