Price Value Quality I love these for reading in bed or laptop. I sometimes even take them on planes to read a book in my lap. Keep the glass clean and they're great.
I got a pair for my mom too. That pair didn't have the prisms perfectly aligned and were frustrating to use. A call to edmund scientific sent a better pair free of charge. I was later able to fix the alignment on the original pair using hot water to make the frame pliable(Posted on 10/19/11)

Price Value Quality I have been looking for these glasses for months after the pair I had disappeared. I have scoliosis and other spinal and neck defects of the vertebrae, and these are a lifesaver for watching TV or reading in bed. Now, I am hoping they will work for my IPAD. I am not able to sit up for too long, and I KNOW these will "fill the bill". They are not just a toy, but fill a real medical need. I saw them in a medical catalogue for a much higher price when I wasn't in need of them, so am so glad to have found them again. Now, don't go raising the price just because I said that. A bit of serendipity! I wish they would make them to fit the different strengths of custom readers Thank you Edmund Scientific

Quality Value Price These glasses work, but I found them a bit heavy and awkward to position over my regular (necessary) glasses. Their vertical acceptance angle range is a bit limited, but it was adequate. I ended up mounting a TV screen on the ceiling above the bed instead.

Quality Value Price WOW! These are optical quality!!! If you ever watch TV in bed, these will keep your back nice and straight. You know how people's upper back get hunched over time with age because they lose the natural curve to the neck? These will prevent the strain of over-straightening of the neck and the compensation by the upper back. They have been a real life saver for me after back surgery. I think you will be very happy with the quality. They do hold on over my prescription glasses with a little adjustment.
