Quality Value Price This works great for an inexpensive stereo microscope. Got it to use with my twin 12 year old boys. Last night we looked at bugs, rocks and plant stuff. Much better than using a loupe of similiar power. For a user hint I used a small LED book light in the base for backlignting as well as the top light. The detail and crispness of the image is excellent for an inexpensive microscope like this. It's also smaller in size which makes it very portable for taking in the field.
