Quality Price Value I have many different kinds of Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty and love playing with it! I also love Edmund Scientific. Therefore, I feel it necessary to clarify this product listing. Edmund Scientific is selling Crazy Aaron's BLACK Thinking Putty here. This putty is NOT magnetic, nor is it intended to be, nor should it be listed in ES' magnetic category. Crazy Aaron DOES make a magnetic Thinking Putty, two in fact. They are packed with tiny iron particles and are VERY reactive to magnets, very magnetizable, and even include Neodymium magnets in their packaging tins. CA's "Strange Attractor" is black magnetic Thinking Putty (and very different from the Black Thinking Putty above); and "Quicksilver" is silver magnetic Thinking Putty. If you want non-magnetic but still very cool Black Thinking Putty, buy here from ES. If you want totally awesome black or silver magnetic Thinking Putty, visit www.Puttyworld.com. You won't regret it! (BTW, I don't work for Crazy Aaron or ES; I just love their stuff!)

Quality Price Value I LOVE Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty and have many different kinds! This Edmund Scientific listing, however, is misleading, to your and Crazy Aaron's detriment. What is shown above (black putty in a tin with a yellow label) is exactly what the picture and label show: "Black" putty. It is easily confused with Crazy Aaron's "Strange Attractor" Thinking Putty, which is also black, but is packed with tiny iron particles making it very reactive to magnets, and "magnetizable". In fact, it includes a Neodymium magnet right in the putty tin! Edmund Scientific is doing you and Crazy Aaron a disservice by listing CA's Black (non-magnetic) putty within their magnetic items category. Please, go to www.Puttyworld.com and check out Crazy Aaron's entire HUGE selection of Thinking Putty, including "Strange Attractor" and "Quicksilver", BOTH VERY MAGNETIC! By the way, I don't work for or even know Crazy Aaron; I just love his putty!

Quality Value Price When it says "magnetic", it really means that you need to magnetize it yourself with a strong magnet. Even when un magnetized, it doesn't even attract very well to magnets like it should. Its just black silly putty basically.
