Quality Value Price I bought this to provide variable height support for studio photography - anything from small shells to vases of flowers. The metal surfaces and edges are very well finished and the height adjustment works smoothly. Not sure I would put a heavy vase of flowers on it at full height extension, but it worked fine at the half-to-two-thirds extension that I've used it so far. Excellent value for the price.
