- Great View/needs Finder Review by Bruce Shaffstall

Quality Value Price Wanted a Portable travel Scope, mostly for Astronomy. Had to be small but did not want a refractor, or standard reflector. This scope has very good quality for such a small length and only 75mm. Needs a finder mount. I am afraid to drill into the body to put a mount on the scope.

Quality Value Price I travel a lot and already carry a Guitar and small amp. Looking to get back into Astronomy while on the road in Oklahoma. AstroMax caught my eye as being the perfect portable scope. Equipped with a bag for both Tube and Tripod, plus better light gathering than most 90-100 mm refractors. The only problem I have had is lining up a target. This scope needs a mount for a finder, be it finder scope or re-dot open sight. Otherwise very good view of the heavens considering it's small size.
