Additionally, a built-on StarPointer finderscope helps with alignment and accurately locating objects, while the SkyAlign feature allows you to align on any three bright celestial objects, making for a fast and easy alignment process. User-friendly features of this scope also extend to its setup - a quick-release computerized base, optical tube, and accessory tray are quickly assembled without the need for any tools. The lightweight telescope is also ides for terrestrial viewing with a linaer field of view of 84 ft. at 1,000 yards.
Includes an internal battery compartment to prevent cord wrap during use; flash upgradeable hand control software and motor control units for downloading product updates online; and "The Sky" Astronomy Software, which provides education about the sky and printable sky maps. The telescope is compatible with optional NexRemote telescope control software, for advanced control of your telescope via computer. Requires batteries, not included.
