Attach the Polarie to any standard camera tripod, and it will accept any digital camera up to 4.4 lbs.
Use the North Star alignment window and the included compass to orient the mount to face north, or use a polar scope for alignment. The Polarie tracks with the motion of the stars, eliminating “star trailing” on your photos for sharp images of the Universe. Usable in both northern and southern hemispheres.
This package includes both the Polarie Star Tracker and a sturdy, portable tripod to mount it on.
Tripod features simple four-part assembly, and legs are adjustable from 21.2” to 70”. Elevator pole extension geared part is 7.9”, friction up-and-down center column is 11.4”. Tripod without pan head weighs 4.3 lbs.
