Designed for and utilized by the space industry, these cells are the primary power source on USA science and communication satellites. Cells are approx. 1/125" thick, lightweight and somewhat flexible with clean, laser cut edges. Excellent light sensitivity. Cells are made from single crystal silicon.
All cells have, as a minimum, 5 silver coated P&N contacts which can be soldered with 60/40 solder and mild flux. All cells tested under 1 sun condition. Electrical output is milliamps per sq. cm at 0.45V when tested at 28°C at high noon (short circuit current tested). Wire in series or parallel for any voltage or current combination.
