• Quality design based on da Vinci's helicopter drawings
• Part of the popular Great Minds puzzle range
• The goal is to separate the puzzle into three pieces
Classic puzzle honors this great thinker's ingenuity and technical prowess
Though the first actual helicopter wasn’t built until the 1940s, it is believed that Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches from 1493 for what he called an “Arial Screw” were the predecessor to the modern day flying machine. As with many of da Vinci’s ideas, he never actually built and tested it – but his notes and drawings mapped out exactly how the device would operate.
The Leonardo da Vinci Helicopter Puzzle – part of the popular Great Minds puzzle range – is based on da Vinci's helicopter drawings found in his Codice Atlántico notebooks. The goal is to separate the puzzle into three pieces, and the clue to solving it is in the puzzle’s name. Antique finish wooden puzzle measures 7.5" x 3" x 7.5", and includes biographical information about da Vinci.
