GreenHawk LPT Ultimate Laser Putting Trainer

Someone once said that the game of golf was just a good walk ruined - but if you insist on playing you might as well learn how to play better. And this high-tech training tool will help.

This innovative device uses a red class IIIa diode laser to teach proper alignment of your putter so that you can putt with laser point accuracy. The GreenHawk's patented Accu-Guide alignment tool makes installation quick and easy while its lightweight design maintains the proper swing and does not hamper line of sight or feel. The laser places a red dot on your target to ensure perfect blade alignment. The trainer fits most putters and when stored in the included carrying case, fits neatly in your golf bag. Laser output is 5mW max at 650nm.

Includes laser putting trainer, Accu-Guide alignment tool, putting cup, carry case, laser with batteries and instruction booklet.

laser light doesn't lie!
Reviewed By: Sean (Spring Hill, Florida)
Well, it does exactly what it says it will. Laser light travels in a straight line, so once you have set up and calibrated your putter (can be a little fiddly depending on model of putter and whether it's straight/bend/double-bend shaft) you're all set to go. Wherever that light shines is where the face of the putter is pointing. If the surface is flat (and not all carpets/floors are!) and your action is clean (i.e. you can return the face of the putter back to square at impact, regardless of whether you are an 'arc' putter or a 'straight back and thro' putter) then the ball will go where it is aimed. Overall, a useful tool. As I say, laser light travels in straight lines, so if you're ball isn't going in that direction it's because you didn't hit it right -- or maybe you need to check the calibration. One of the most useful features is checking to see how close you are to 'pointing' at your target and seeing if it is where you think you are aiming. I noticed that on 15-foot putts, I used to consistently aim about 6-8 inches right....not any more. Good purchase. I'm happy with it. Last round I took 33 putts, so I'm going in the right direction.
