The EcoSpheres were created using technology developed by scientists at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Their research involved developing self-contained communities in which space explorers can live during long-term space flights. This technology has been applied to these ecospheres, making it very easy to care for.

Due to the fact that these miniature worlds are self-sustaining, caring for your EcoSphere is simple. All you need to do is provide your EcoSphere with a source of indirect natural or artificial light and the rest takes care of itself. No feedings or cleanings are necessary!
