This Apollo 16 color print commemorating the fifth mission to land on the moon on April 21, 1972, features astronaut Charlie Duke with the American flag, and is personally signed by him.
Along with Captain John Young, Duke’s stay on the moon was a record-setting 71 hours and 14 minutes. In that time, they collected nearly 213 pounds of rock and soil samples and used the Rover-2 (their lunar car, pictured) to maneuver around the moon. Duke filmed the only shots of the rover in action. He was the tenth man and youngest of only twelve people to walk on the moon.
This print comes framed in black wood under glass, and arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
